2. Innovation: Drive innovation in diagnostic technology, including the exploration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, genomics, and IoT to enhance diagnostic accuracy and speed.

3. Product Development/Application Enhancements: Oversee the development and enhancement of diagnostic products, platforms, and software applications, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.

4. Data Management: Implement robust data management and analytics solutions to extract valuable insights from diagnostic data, improve patient outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, marketing, operations, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless integration of technology into diagnostic processes and products.

6. Cost Efficiencies: Review the entire landscape of IT and overall business operations and deploy technology related strategies for the bringing the required cost efficiencies.

7. Data Security / Risk Management: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements in the healthcare and diagnostic sectors and ensure that technology solutions meet all compliance standards.

8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while delivering on strategic objectives

9. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of hardware and software solutions.

10. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies in the diagnostic field to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

11. Communication: Effectively communicate the technology vision and strategy to the executive team, stakeholders, and employees, fostering alignment and enthusiasm for technological initiatives.
