Cimpress - Product Costing Analyst

What are you expected to do?

- Responsibility in ensuring product costs are accurate and up to date throughout the entire Vistaprint portfolio, including standardization across regions and throughout multiple manufacturing facilities

- Development of transfer pricing methodology for intercompany transactions

- Educating stakeholders on cost drivers and use cases for costing information, for example full vs. marginal costing

- Partnering with Product Marketing teams through yearly trend analysis, product benchmarking, and analysis/explanation of changes or variances in standards

- Identify and evaluate opportunities for plant cost improvements highlighted by product cost differences

- Support in identifying contribution profit opportunities through strategic seasonal asset utilization

- Partnering with Manufacturing Technology teams through support for new product introductions and cost savings initiatives, and providing analysis for supporting business cases

- Partnering with Fulfillment teams through analysis support for contribution profit opportunities such as make vs. buy, or routing opportunities within plants

- Spending time in the plant, working with operations personnel increase understanding of process and cost drivers

Various ad-hoc analysis as required

What will make your candidature great

- Bachelor of Commerce degree and/or Industrial Engineering degree (or equivalent) and CMA certification

- 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing related finance or engineering role

- Understanding of managerial cost accounting principles

- A proactive, engaged, and action-oriented attitude

- Excellent communication (written and verbal), and comfort with presenting to all levels of the organization

- Strong analytical

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with high energy and enthusiasm for fast-paced environment

- An attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

- Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Excel

- General knowledge of SQL and database mining a plus

- SAP experience a plus

- Ability to work along cross functional teams

- Exposure to analysis with multiple currencies
