Chumbak - Business Analyst - Analytics

About the Job

Chumbak is looking for a Business Analyst to manage retail analytics, data pipelining, modeling and visualization. You should have a proven track record in business and data analytics (preferably in retail). You should have an entrepreneurial mind-set and should be able to identify projects and lead them from conceptualization to solution. You must have good understanding of analytical and statistical techniques and must be well-versed in data exploration & visualization tools.

Role & Responsibilities - 

- Rationalize data models and build data pipeline to standardize reporting

- Manage business critical initiatives in planning, sourcing, inventory management etc and deliver data based solutions

- Create insightful data visualizations for reporting and diagnostics

- Develop forecasting models & derive insights to drive business

- Work closely with senior management on complex business problems and help with business decision making

Desired Experience and Skills

Education : B.Tech

Years of Experience : 1-5 years

Should have :

- Experience in Business/Data Analytics preferably in the retail space

- Must be proficient in SQL, Excel and VBA (Macros)

- Must able to set up at least and use at least one BI tool (Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, etc.)

- Must be driven to experiment and own modules. A keen interest in Machine Learning and desire to implement models is key.

- Should have strong knowledge of statistics and analytical techniques.

- Experience in forecasting models (regression/clustering) is preferable

- Must be a Self-starter and be hands-on.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is required.
