Job Description : - Responsible for Statutory Reporting a. Finalization of Financial Statements in accordance with IRDA regulatory Framework b. Responsible for preparation of Board/Audit committee related documents c. Finalization of Financial statements as per IND AS framework for the purpose of Holding Company Consolidation d. Understand the GAP differences between I GAAP (Statutory reporting) and IND AS and prepare the GAAP adjustments workings. - Review of Trial Balance/Financial Statements on timely basis and follow up/take intiatives to improve the process - Responsible for submitting the IRDA returns for the Finance Department - Co-ordination/responsible for queries/data requirement from IRDA/Regulator, Inspection etc. - Co-ordination of Statutory Audit, tax Audit, Internal Audit - Ensure seamless Integration of various financial reporting data from other ERPs to Financial Reporting systems - NCD (Borrowings) related compliances and servicing debt obligations on timely basis. - Co-ordination of Annual Surveillance of Credit Rating Agencies - Responsible for Investments Back office Accounting a. Responsible for Book keeping related activities of Investments accounting b. Filing of various IRDA returns as applicable to Investment department c. Timely and appropriate reporting of investments related information/dashboard periodically d. Classification, Provisioning for Non-Performing assets in accordance with IRDA regulations - Responsible for Reinsurance Back office Accounting a. Responsible for Book keeping (including reviewing schedules) for the RI related transactions b. Performing reconciliations between Financial Module and Reinsurance Module balances and take suitable actions c. Follow up with Reinsurers for collectibles d. Settlement of RI transactions as per Treaty/agreement timeline e. Responsible for Compliance related to GST and TDS on reinsurance transactions
