Job Description : CTO position with an International brand which has a cloud based technology platform providing business intelligence solutions within the hospitality industry.

Client Details :

Our client international brand which has a cloud based technology platform providing business intelligence solutions within the hospitality industry. They are looking to hire a seasoned, tech savvy professional to head their Technology division.

Job Description :

Reporting to the MD, your key responsibilities will include :

- Define the company's technology agenda and strategy and enforce it at the ground level

- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments in Hospitality and Travel Industry.

- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics, competitive threats and create plans to benefit the organization and our clients

- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity

- Represent the organization & present at industry and technology forums; liaise with analyst community

- Be comfortable making presentations to the C-suite

- Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP

- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture

- Drive the focus in transforming analytics by defining/implementing AI/ML solutions

- Oversees IT budgets and internal IT department

- Define internal IT policies for the organization, including but not limited to such areas as internet usage, data security, email, licensing policies, network management and disaster recovery

- Lead a team of technology leaders to execute on product release plans

- Work hand in glove with other departments, particularly the product management group, to ensure we deliver continuous innovation to the marketplace

Profile :

- Minimum 15 years experience working in leadership roles in software engineering

- At least a Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field required

- Advanced IT Knowledge and terminology, SaaS product development and Computational Skills

- Deep understanding of latest architectural patterns and cloud technologies and tools

- Proven experience dealing with big data, data lakes and machine learning/statistical techniques desirable

- Agile SDLC experience, ability to drive large teams

- Interpersonal Skills, and Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

- Self-motivated, "out of the box" Critical Thinking, Team Builder and a Natural Leader

- Industry Knowledge and Client Management

- Business savvy: ability to find good solutions quick instead of spending an eternity looking for the best solution!

- Microsoft dot net, Azure technology experience a strong plus
