JOB DESCRIPTION  1. Provide technology leadership to the organisation in building best in class payment products/ solutions  2. Create a 5 year rolling vision/ roadmap for product development/ prototyping  3. Develop a bunch of technology assets & IPR for the company  4. Inculcate an environment of new product development and innovation in the organisation; develop a Tollgate process for NPD  5. Support the Engineering and Delivery team in selecting the right technologies and ensuring quality of deliveries  6. Manage a Project Management Office to track the deliveries and product management cycles  7. Take care of the regulatory and compliance related matters concerned with the technology platforms, such as CISA Audits, ISO etc.  8. Create a dedicated team to focus on the above.  Candidate Background :  - Experience : 15-20 years in the Telecom, Payments or IT software industry  - Specific area of experience : 10+ years in either core product design/ development or in R&D  - First hand knowledge in supervising development of software solutions  - Strong project management skills and management of development, maintenance and support teams.  - B.Tech / M. Tech / MCA degree   - MBA preferred  - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.   Nature of products/ services involved with:  - Payments platforms - Core banking, Card management, Wallets, Payment switches etc.) OR  - Telecom OSS/ BSS (Prepaid platforms such as IN, Postpaid billing, telecom switches, core network elements etc.) OR  - Messaging systems like SMS (SMSC, SMSR), MMS (MMSC), USSD (Gateway).  Candidates only from following industries should apply  - Payments/ IT software  - Telecom Prepaid  - Telecom Postpaid  - Telecom switching  - Telecom Core Network  - Other PPI who have developed their own service delivery platform
