We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Technology Officer who has not only has experience in managing IT and IO related activities of international companies (preferably logistics &amp; Freight) but also demonstrates a strong desire to organize and run the company's start up projects in logistics solutions. Responsibilities/ Duties : - Establishes the company's technical vision and leads all aspects of the company's technological development. - Directs the company's technology and software strategy, development, and future growth. - Proven experience in leading and develop the company from zero to one. Worked in an environment from the scratch and made the company grow. - Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as Business Development, Product Management, Client Experience &amp; Marketing, Finance, People, etc. as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness. - Provide leadership to department heads in a fashion that supports the company's culture, mission and values. - Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation. - Acts as a good steward of The Company's resources and ensures control of IT and IO departmental budgets. - The organization shall be diversifying into various new processes that will create opportunities to create new products which the Candidate shall take ownership of. - Candidates will obtain a deep understanding of the business side and accurate processes and systems around it. She/he will gather feedback from various stakeholders and continuously refine tech offerings. - Lead all technology initiatives of the company, manage the entire technology platform including strategic planning, development, and implementation. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices. - Understand complex business requirements very quickly and architect solutions while paying attention to detail. - Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization. - Responsible for creating white papers and webinars and providing leadership and direction to the technical members. - Will manage and guide a team on the software development and engineering platforms. - The role requires you to have a combination of hands-on technical expertise and team management skills. - Will work closely with the business team on the technology initiatives and will be responsible for finalizing the technology partner(s) and managing the relationships. - Responsible for timely, within budget, and successful delivery of the technology solutions for the organization. - Responsible for ongoing support and other activities related to technology. - Responsible for the entire technology setup for the business. - Responsible for any technology initiatives for enabling better customer service. - Would be continuously developing/exploring new technology avenues. Criteria for the Role! - Firstly, as infrastructure manager, CTO runs the infrastructure and operations of IT, like data center operations, applications development and maintenance. - Secondly, as a big thinker, CTO has the responsibility to create new business model and business line to generate and increase revenue. - Thirdly, as a technology visionary and operations manager, CTO have to determining the technology can be used to improve the strategic of organization business. - Finally, as external-facing technologist, CTO must be able to supply better product and service to customer by technology.
