Roles and Responsibilities :

- The incumbent should have strong experience in a product development and deployment in a technology enabled consumer facing offering/platform, preferably in the banking/ fintech domain.

- Head the Technology team consisting of developers, testers and UX designers - and ensure good release management to deliver the product roadmap with high speed and quality. To do this, one would need to do good estimation and oversight over team member's work, while bringing automation and best practices to code management, testing and build and deployment processes etc.

- Create, manage and evolve the technical architecture for the company and which will include the Loan Management system, Credit decisioning engine, payment platforms, third party integration etc.

- Own and evolve the product's technology architecture and development stack while keeping in mind the needs of the business as usual, evolving product feature requirements, security, scalability & maintainability.

- Be a champion of engineering excellence: establish team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence. Implement a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement.

- Identifying project technical risks and providing technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation.

- Manage the technology and vendor selection processes supporting build-buy-partner decisions

Education : Strong IT professional (preferably B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT from Tier 1 Engineering Institute)

Experience & Required Skills :

- 15+ years of experience in diverse technologies,minimum of 5 years should be in a managerial or leadership role, within the financial services (banking) / fintech sectors .

- 4+ years of experience of building large-scale digital products within a high growth, global, matrixed environment

- 4+ years in developing solution architecture and/or leading engineering teams for digital product development and complex (enterprise) system integration projects

- Should be well versed with Start-up working culture, especially working with small and remote teams

- Experience in all facets of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, designing, coding, testing, deployment and production support.

- Experience in integrating with APIs like eKYC, banking payment systems, third party APIs, market automation etc.

- Experience with technology relative to industry; .Net, C#. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, jQuery, Angular, AWS, IIS, Apache, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C, PHP.

- Understanding of Cloud infra, exposure of AWS or AZURE.

- Extensive experience in architecting both tech and cloud platforms.

- Experience with or exposure to multi-tier website development using any programming (like java, C++, Python and Dotnet etc) and web technologies (like PHP, Js node etc).

- Hands on experience in developing applications in iOS, Android, Web, Windows.

- Sound knowledge of relational databases, including schema design and advanced queries.

- Understanding of any project management tools like JIRA or others.

- Understanding of Whispering agent and chatbot exposure will be added advantage.
