Chief Technology Officer - EdTech

JOB PROFILE:

- Join the leadership team as a technology expert and take full ownership for all our technology products

- Define the process for product development life cycle that is best suited for our organization, starting from product definition to development, testing and final delivery

- Manage the product development and engineering roadmap and ensure that the product is developed on schedule with the right amount of quality standards

- Build a strong tech team who can take up new product development work and also maintain existing products

- Stay on top of new technology developments and ensure that we keep up with upcoming new technologies so we are not left behind

- In few cases when inhouse team is not available, outsource product development work to an external technology partner (vendor)

REQUIREMENTS:

- You have more than 7 years of experience in the technology space, with at least 5 years as a hands-on developer in web based products or native app development

- You are excited about building products in the education domain that can make a positive difference to the lives of millions of students

- You are familiar with iOS and Android dev environment, the latest cloud technologies like AWS, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud Platform, and frontend and backend technologies/frameworks including React, Vue, Python, Django

- You can survive and keep up with the fast paced work culture in a startup
