Job Description - The CTO will be providing technical direction & guidance to the Product and Engineering Team, helping them in building the team, setting up the KRAs, policies & processes.

With a rapidly expanding business, they are looking for a CTO to spearhead the e-commerce platform along with the latest technological advancements.

Description

Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities would include and not limited to the following:

- Build a Technology team that will be responsible for full stack of development, data and analytics. - Building data sanity module to ensure data consistency. Capture and collate data across clickstreams, impressions and databases like MongoDB and MySQL in to a data warehouse. - Use the above data to generate relevant business dashboards that help in key business decisions. - Developing Technology Architecture that improves key website parameters and is robust for further scale-up. - Designing and implementing a product note for automating information flow across various departments. - Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, production and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness. - Automating tasks for improved productivity across businesses for e.g. Warehouse processes, customer refunds, key data metrics.

- Use Machine Learning to build product recommendation engines, personalise website pages/ product widgets.

- Design and implement changes to the website to improve the overall UI/UX and website conversions. - Integrating APIs with key business service provides to aid seamless flow of information across all channels.

Profile

- B. Tech. in Computer Science from Tier-1 college

- 12+ years of experience in hands-on technical management with 2+ years of experience in a consumer internet setup - Tech expertise in Open Source/ PHP, My SQL, Java, JS, HTML, CSS3, Integration, mobile engineering, cloud platforms, etc. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done - Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff - Self-starter and ability to work in unstructured environments - Strong writing and presentation skills
