Company Details:

The organisation is a foundation, a part of a large conglomerate Group (10 Trillion INR) based at Mumbai.

Role & Responsibility

1 As the CTO you will be responsible for making executive technology decisions on behalf of the Foundation, including managing a technology budget and invest in technology that will amplify the Foundation's efforts and impact. You will be an ambitious, multitasker able to thrive in a fast paced environment, a strategic thinker, effective communicator and an expert in technological development.

2 You will work directly with the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert (someone who has understanding of the programs), making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the Foundation.

3 Validating the technical feasibility of the digital initiatives and setting a vision and operational roadmap for how technology will be used in the various CSR programs.

4 Ensuring the application of engineering excellence, design best practices and all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

5 Ensure the organization's technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships fully serves its business strategy.

Experience & Educational Requirements

- Extensive experience in developing new digital solutions for development sector.

- Scaling up a complex interdisciplinary technical team, identification of resources and the management and control of them.

- Experience in a start-up environment would be beneficial Technology strategy planning and application to meet business goals and objectives.

- Development and implementation of NPI methods and processes including gateways and build requirements.

a) Necessary:

M.Tech /B.E/ B.Tech (IT, Mechanical, Electrical, others would be considered)

5 years in an executive level technical role

Desirable: MBA

b) Preferred:

S/he should be experienced in commissioning projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives.

Advanced technological skill set across a number of technology and industry sectors to include:

- Education

- Agriculture

- Health

- Artificial Intelligence

- Telecom and Platform based solutions

A self-starter, able to make evidence-based decisions, and display a strong "can-do" attitude to match the challenges with equal enthusiasm.

An open and inclusive management style with excellent leadership skills to build and mentor a self-motivated team of the highest caliber.

A thorough yet pragmatic approach and able to apply a sound understanding of the fundamentals of engineering and ensure that technologies, design solutions and resources are correctly identified, managed and implemented to meet the project and product performance, cost and timing deliverables.

Analytical, and decision-making skills are vital to the position. Able to apply best practice RCA and decision making methods.
