About our Client - Our client is one of the leading cold supply chain solutions providers in India, with a rich history of providing customized and specialized services to clients across the F&B, FMCG, Pharma Industry. They are widely regarded as pioneers in this space, and have been growing exponentially over the last few years. They are currently looking at setting up a dedicated vertical focusing on the Ecommerce Space, and are looking to recruit a COO for the same, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.

Job Description

- CTO will be responsible for establishing the company's technical vision, direction and technology policies. Lead all aspects of the technology innovation, company's technology competence development and technology operations and have customer delight ownership.

- Co-partner with individual LoB leadership to co-create products and services par excellence in the domain of technology enabled education.

- Play an important role in company's strategic direction development, business plan development and execution of same to build a robust and futuristic organisation.

- CTO will also be the chief architect of technology systems, products and services both internal as well as external focused. Key Deliverables Strategic Planning :

- Technology ownership during business plan development, innovation, product and service technical feasibility, architecting, platform and technology selection, technology infrastructure planning and set-up, risks and mitigation plan, hedging against technological obsolescence, information security planning, technology audit planning, quality assurance, communicating technology strategy to internal and external stakeholders, Technology due-diligence and Technology integration in case of M&A and amongst portfolio companies etc. Technology Operations :

- Lead set-up or acquisition of Supporting technology Infrastructure, Skilled Team, Set-up development and delivery process as per CMM Level 5 standards, Responsible for SDLC (Software Life-cycle development), Set-up customer support strategy and eco-system, conduct product and service development reviews including code reviews, Develop Product Release Strategy and manage the release process.

The Successful Candidate

- Should be a B.Tech from IIT or BITS Pilani with MBA from a premier organization.10-15 years of experience with 2-5 years as CTO of an organization recognized for excellence in technology.

- Should have demonstrated successful technological innovation.

- Should have a track record of delivering product and solution from an idea stage using cutting edge technology.

- Should be well versed with leading educational and other technologies viz. Cloud, Mobility, Analytics, Social Media, ERP, Smart Class, Learning Management System, Learning Content Management System, Assessment Engine, Networking and Computing / Mobile Infrastructure and platforms like HTML5, iOS, Android, Windows, .net, J2EE, and other content related technologies viz. authoring tools.

- Expertise to deal with new technology in short time effectively
