Chief Technology Officer - BFSI

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide thought leadership for the company's technology strategy and execution plan

- Play the role of solutions architect in leading the planning, design, development, implementation and upgrade of the company's technology requirements (in consultation with Business user teams) and manage seamless execution and support

- Design and build independent software for each Business team based on their unique needs with absolute compatibility between internal software's that has an integrated platform to enable smooth experience across business users

- Plan, design, develop, implement and monitor a robust Information security plan - covering hardware and software security

- Review, design, implement and monitor a comprehensive data back-up and recovery plan across all existing information systems, used by the company

- Website - Support with development and enhancing design of part of website. Monitor corporate website analytics to capture site traffic, user efficiency

- Hire, develop and manage the technology team, in alignment with to the company's technology strategy

Key Capabilities :

- Has hand on experience in designing and developing software in line with unique business requirements in the capacity of a systems architect. Should have past experience of exhibiting excellence in solution design, solution architecture, implementation and strategy.

- Should have a good understanding of current market technology trends and products, which can translate into demonstrating an ability to identify the best technology fit in line with all in house requirements

- Strong technical background to play a consultative role in conceiving, designing and developing a set of software applicable for business units at IFMR Capital is engaged in. Should have a legacy of success in the design of efficient, effective and innovative solutions.

- Understanding of business models to integrate company's business solutions (for a smooth integration of old and new interfaces)

- Hands on experience in managing projects

- Good people management ability

- Experience in managing security in IT infrastructure Strong coding skills

- Combining analytical and methodical thinking with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven track record in "Getting things done", "Making it happen" and "Adding value for clients".

- Candidate should have a passion to create and develop new software, take on the challenge to lead and grow the Technology function in the organization

Minimum Qualification : An Engineering degree in Computer Science
