Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities :

- CTO shall be responsible for shaping and implementing the technology strategy of a company, driving innovation, and ensuring that technology initiatives align with business objectives.

Provide vision and leadership for the development and implementation of the company's technology strategy (Website maintenance, App Development and Maintenance, Data Management and Data Security).

- Develop and implement short-term and long-term technology plans to support and enable the company's growth and expansion.

1. Shall be responsible for building a high performing team with expertise to manage technical advancement within the organization.

2. Shall be responsible for defining and maintaining the technology architecture, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency. Shall be responsible for Infrastructure management along with ensuring timely maintenance of the website.

3. Evaluate and select appropriate technology platforms and tools to meet business requirements. Shall be responsible for evaluating and implementing business applications.

4. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects on time and within budget.

5. Drive research and development efforts to explore new technologies and assess their potential impact on the business.

6. Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's digital assets and sensitive information. Stay informed about cybersecurity threats and ensure the organization is prepared to address them.

7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.

8. Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

9. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations pertaining to technology and ensure the company's compliance.

10. Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring the company receives high-quality products and services.

11. Communicate the company's technology strategy to stakeholders, including executives, board members, and employees.

Qualifications and Requirements :

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's or MBA is a plus.

2. Proven track record of leadership in technology roles, preferably as a CTO or similar leadership position.

3. Experience in developing and executing technology strategies that align with business goals.

4. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, and integration methodologies.

5. Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and building collaborative work environments.

6. Experience in selecting and implementing software tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
