Duties and Responsibility

Some Key Responsibilities include:

- Coordinating with website developing agencies for developing the backend and user facing features of the platform

- Work with the agency and marketing head to implement the UI/UX of the platform

- Responsibility to provide technical assistance and fix any bugs or technical errors

- Design, develop and own components of the platform

- Solve problems and build, extend and develop the back-end and front-end architecture.

- Optimize the platform for maximum speed and scalability.

- Strengthen and improve development and processes within the team.

Requirement and Skills

- Experience of over 5-7 years in web programming

- Good knowledge of PHP, AJAX, Jquery, HTML & CSS

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

- Understanding of MVC and OOPS, hands on some framework is a plus

- Working knowledge of relational databases

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and services is a plus

- Contributions to open source project is a plus

- Thorough with version control system concepts

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to spear head projects and thrive in a fast paced environment

- Staying up to date with emerging web technologies, standards, devices and user engagement.

- Insatiable hunger to create an innovative platform, an attitude to always be willing to try and ready to fail forward.
