Chief Technical Officer - IT Infra

Based in Mumbai and reporting directly to the CIO APAC, the successful candidate for this challenging and varied role will be responsible for managing all IT Functions of the nine (Mumbai x2, Gurgaon, Delhi, Bangalore x2, Chennai x2, Hyderabad)

Major responsibilities will include implementations and management of :

- India IT infrastructure and systems

- Global IT projects

- Supervision, management, and guidance for local office IT managers

- Develop best practices and written documentation for all server and infrastructure maintenance

On a less technical level, the candidate will handle, control, and define :

- Adherence to and regional governance of group IT policies and procedures

- Annual IT Budget

- Negotiations and management of the IT Vendors within the region

- The ability to travel (in India) is an essential requirement for this role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

- Formal qualifications in information or computer systems are necessary

- Minimum ten years' experience in network administration with Windows services including knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, cloud computing, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, antivirus software, and antimalware techniques

- Experience with Windows Servers and both Windows and Macintosh workstations in a Windows domain

- Minimum of eight years' experience in coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems, including planning, specifications development, purchasing, installation, training, troubleshooting, and repair

- In-depth knowledge of a Windows Active Directory

- Advanced computer hardware and software knowledge and skills

- In-depth knowledge of VMware products and services

- Knowledge of SAN storage systems management, control, and optimization

- In-depth knowledge of email systems, routing, and related security

- Experience with Adobe products would be an advantage

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

- Ability to explain and present a strategy to management in laymen's terms on the use of computer related technologies

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail

- Self-motivated and direct, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

- Ability to manage staff in local offices with cultural differences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science or a related field

- Microsoft, Palo Alto and Cisco certifications

- In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco & Meraki routers and switches, Veeam backup/Cloud backup solution and endpoint protection software (SentinelOne)

- Experience with deploying and managing asset management tools: JAMF - KACE.

- MS Office365 experience

- GDPR knowledge would be a plus

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
