Summary : - Own and Manage the overall Information Technology for the Organization, including IT Strategy, Operating Plans, and Implementation of Systems, to meet the business priorities - IT Organization design, recruiting and management of personnel - Lead, plan and direct the design and implementation of delivery support of new technology of the bank - Strengthen existing IT systems in order to ensure business continuity - Strive continuously to improve Bank's IT efficiency and utilize technology to ensure low cost operations - Enable achievement of bank's goal through technology lever - Information security management - Interaction with external forums to keep abreast of developments and project IT capabilities to RBI - Telecom infrastructure management Desired Qualification : - Engineering Graduate or MCA or Equivalent Post-graduate qualification from a recognized University / Institution. - Analytical and technological skills and experience in banking IT Desired Experience : - 20+ years of experience in relevant areas is mandatory. He/she should have worked in Banking-IT related areas, projects involving IT Policy and Planning, Financial Networks and Applications, Financial Information Systems, Cyber Security Technologies, Payment Technologies, etc., of which five years should be at senior management level. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Business : - Formulate IT Department's strategy and ensure alignment between IT and business; monitor the implementation of the strategy - Implement a robust IT Budgeting and reporting process; manage costs within IT Budget ( Capital Expenses, Operating &amp; maintenance Expenses, Personnel count &amp; Costs ) - Understand business requirements and processes; Implement technology changes to bring Operational efficiency with reduction in error rate Customer : - Adherence to SLA/TAT for internal IT requests/requirement - Monitor downtime and ensure business doesn- t get affected - Guarantee confidential treatment of all the information gathered in various software applications/systems &amp; servers and demonstrate the highest order of integrity as per the code of conduct of the organization Internal process : - Ensure coordination between IT and functions on gathering requirements and setting up the systems - Monitor implementation of SFB Technology in strict timeline of 6 months - Ensure adherence to timelines for implementation of existing IT projects such as GLOW, rule engine, DW/BI, HRMS etc. - Monitor processes to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and Turnaround time for the SI and other vendors - Accountable for on-time and efficient vendor delivery, incident management and problem management - Ensure seamless management of hardware, network and security across organization - Monitor the security of the Bank's data and systems; Achieve satisfactory Audit ratings &amp; IT security (Internal &amp; External Audits) - Update the senior management on the competitive position of the Bank with respect to IT, thereby recommending studies, changes or additions to assure state-of-art technology and communications systems People Management : - Train the existing employees within IT dept. for SFB technology - Ensure that the department is adequately staffed as per the manpower norms - Manage the team; including target setting and monitoring performance against the defined goals/ metrics and take corrective action wherever required - Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of key performers - Develop guidelines and metrics for rewards and recognition of IT staff FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : - Knowledge of banking business &amp; technology - IT Project/Program management - Knowledge on banking IT infrastructure - Knowledge on Security &amp; network - Ability to focus on operational efficiency - Vendor Management - Knowledge of compliance requirements BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES : - System and process orientation - Quality orientation - Problem-solving ability - Multi-tasking - Team management - Negotiation skills - Relationship with internal and external stakeholders
