Revenue management :
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Work on expanding the company via offline retail, marketplaces and eCommerce.
Distribution :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting distributor relationships. Work on partnerships and alliances to boost business growth.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
P&L :
- Responsibility of profit and loss statement for the entire business. Keep track of ROI and each expansion campaign.
Team management :
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop both inside and field sales talent while contributing strategically at all levels within the organization, including board and investors.
- Leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
- At the highest level the CSO's mission is to align and optimize the entire new customer acquisition experience with the aim of increasing revenue.
Requirements :
- 10-15+ years work experience.
- Preferably in sales/distribution of Apparel, BFSI, FMCG or other similar industries
- Entrepreneurial- a spirit and passion for a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Flexibility and comfort in working in unstructured environments, startups is a plus.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Existing network of distributors and retail is a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation abilities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Has the ability to motivate and inspire sales and distribution team
- Coach/Mentor- shows clear examples of strong relationship development and ability to recognize and grow outstanding talent.
- Exhibits superior organizational skills and strategic planning abilities.
- Has strong interpersonal skills as well as negotiation and persuasion abilities.
