A fintech start up, backed by leading PE firms and a one-stop solution for merchants to collect payments is looking for a Chief Sales Officer to drive the growth in the domestic market by managing activities for growth in volume.



Position Summary:

Lead the India account management function with a team and ensure smooth functioning of business with existing and new client (merchant) base.

Reporting to - Chief Business Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

- Develop growth strategy for the product/service line along with volume, gross margins and overall profitability. 

- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the business overall sales program, inclusive of securing new consumers, expanding opportunities within the current consumer base through advertising initiative, and delivering new product offerings.

- To act as an analytical catalyst where he/she conducts business analysis, performance analysis, competitive analysis.

- To establish relationships with key personnel within the business market.

- Expand and retain named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service and satisfaction.

- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities by targeting accounts that will have a major strategic impact on the short, medium and long-term success of the organization.

- Identify opportunities for business expansion in new markets and execute launches across the same.

- Ensure best in-class service metrics problem identification, initiative ideation and execution to ensure the same.

- To improve the overall financial health of the business.

- To collaborate with key internal stakeholders for innovation and diversification agendas.

- To set the departments KPIs and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales initiatives ensuring appropriate changes that encourage achievement of overall sales and business targets.

- Monitor performance against goals for the team to ensure that progress is being made. Identify skill gaps, establish professional development requirements for direct reportees.

- Gather insights, identify opportunities for the organization which involves forecasting consumer foresight and insights and any opportunities and/or threats emerging from the competitive or technology landscape.

Qualifications:

 - Post graduate degree from a premium institute
