Job role : Chief Risk Officer/ Senior Vice President Risk - (Mumbai)


Role Purpose : This role is responsible for making all the decisions on risk management issues that impact the strategic direction of the company. Exhibits business process knowledge and provides solutions for business progress. Adapt and initiates change in the organization. Seeks ways to optimize risks in the organization as a competitive business advantage. Oversee, and successfully run the risk management function of Group with all exchanges across all segments.

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

1. Manage credit and operational risks, assure controls are operating effectively for the seamless progress of the organization.

2. Provide analytical support to leverage business within the ambit of managed risk.

3. Develop risk related plans, policies and formulate strategies to comply with the regulation and mitigate risks.

4. To design, develop and implement risk management systems to minimize risk and fraud incidences and time to time evaluating and updating mechanisms.

5. Always ensuring sufficient collaterals to maintain as per requirement of exchanges across all segments

6. Developing strategies to work on funds and exposure distribution management for branches, sub-brokers and clients.

7. Ensuring updation of client's collateral in RMS system to provide necessary exposure / leverage automatically - exercising exceptions as per requests received from channel partners / clients / branches to minimize risk.

8. Identifying areas for fund exposure and extending limits to encourage high business volume resulting in high revenue generation, keeping in mind risk areas.

9. Leverage / exposure strategy during volatile market

10. Ensure that all penalties are avoided in F&O & commodity segment

11. Take immediate actions for managing requisite margin money with all exchanges during trading hours based on indications from E- protector - exchange surveillance system.

12. Ensure all related systems get enhanced, tested and implemented as & when required.

13. Generating and sharing reports with management on client risk profiling, market risk factor, appropriate suggestions and recommendations.

14. Developing and mentoring team members for knowledge and skill enhancement.

Requirement :

1. Master's Degree in Business Administration, CS or CA

2. 12+ years of experience in relevant areas

3. Highly developed communication, team player, change agent, strategic & creative, ability to drive performance.
