Chief Risk Officer - FinTech Startup

The Role

We are looking for a Leadership role in Risk and Fraud to join our growing fin-tech start up. This person will report into the Chief Executive Officer & set the strategy, implementation & operations for risk decisions.

What You'll Be Doing -

- Set the roadmap for the risk function

- Rapidly scale up the function and the team

- Lead and manage the Risk and Analytics function for assessing applicants' credit risks

- Design a comprehensive risk strategy incorporating risk decisioning, data science, business analytics, and product management.

- Create automated anomaly detection systems and track their performance.

- Perform ad-hoc analysis and prevent results in a clear manner.

What You Should Have

- Degree or equivalent practical experience.

- Prior risk management experience developing multi-year strategy, business plans and roadmaps, building executive relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

- 12- 15 years of experience.

- Strong exposure to unsecured supply chain financing (to SME companies ) portfolio would be an advantage

- Extensive knowledge and skills in risk assessment analysis, identifying risk, and signs of changing risk levels

- Risk & Fraud experience with a Fintech will be a plus
