Chief Risk Officer (CRO): Fintech Leader

They also have a top tier suite of investors and one of the most seasoned workforces in the industry that includes senior bankers and global returnees.

The Role

As a CRO, you will be responsible for Risk Management of the company including defining Risk Policies in the areas of Credit Risk, Organization Risk, Portfolio Risk. You be involved in Development of predictive Models on Credit, Fraud identification management and also lead the Data Science related work streams.

Key Deliverables:

- Risk Management and Governance.

- Scorecard and Modeling including development of ML & Logistic models for portfolio and Collections

- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

- Credit Risk Management for both, portfolio & exposure.

- Operational Risk Management across various business units.

- Market Risk and Liquidity Management to limit risk and optimize liquidity positions.

- Risk Reporting

- Develop comprehensive MIS and dashboards from application process to collection process

Your Profile:

- You should be a postgraduate from a premier institution with at least 18 years of experience, including a significant stint in a top management role with the Finance/Fintech industry.

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role in Risk management within the financial services industry.

- In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, regulations, and best practices.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Certification in Risk Management (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.

- Prior experience with early stage companies and rapid growth would be an advantage
