Chief Product Officer

JD for Chief Product Officer:

Primary responsibility would be overseeing the development and management of the company's digital products- the websites and apps. The primary areas would include:

- Product Strategy: responsible for developing a product vision, strategy and road map that aligns with the overall business goals.

- Product Development: Developing new products and features and keeping up to date with the technology deployment to be at the cutting edge and leading the publisher pack in the country.

- Tech Infrastructure: Define the vision for Tech Infrastructure; select and manage tech stack

- User experience: excellence in user experience, overseeing the design of existing products

- Analytics: tracking performance, user behaviour, product decisions and content trends. Continuously monitor and measure product performance and iterate based on user feedback and data insights

- Traffic: Responsible for traffic growth of the sites, apps & user retention

- Revenue generation: Develop strategies to monetise digital partnership, explore newer revenue models like subscription/membership, develop partnerships and collaborate with big tech/other players and identify newer revenue streams

- Team management: Build and manage a high-performing product team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 10+ years experience in product management.

- Proven experience of leading the development and launch, manage and launch of successful digital products, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions, excellent communication skills, collaborator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performance and talented teams, passion for emerging technologies
