As a Chief Product Officer (CPO), your role will comprise of the following : Customer Research : You'll be responsible for market research and assessment. You will also need to identify prospective customer segments (internal and external), collect and organize data, and translate the Voice of the Customer into specific needs. Product Vision : You should be a highly experienced Product thinker who will acquire a deep understanding of all customers that our client caters to, their respective behavior and need. - You will not just be exposed to Product but will also partner with the CEO and other senior leaders to think creatively and define the Product Vision. You will proactively own the forward-looking Product roadmap for the next 12-18 months - You will also lead the transformation of product ideas from their most formidable early stages into actionable user stories, timelines, and work sprints. - You will be in charge of identifying operational weaknesses and improvement opportunities, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of all product activities for the purpose of meeting product and business goals. Defining core versus context : You will need to be thoughtful and judicious about making the right long-term data and product investments for the business. You will also be tasked to identify these areas and work with the engineering team to ensure strong alignment Strong empathy for engineering roadmap : While you will need to review outbound corporate goals to define the roadmap, you should also be able to look at the technology roadmap to understand the needs of the engineering architecture. The latter is crucial to inspire top caliber engineers within the organization and build a stack for a longer term and ensure scale. - 10+ years of proven Product experience delivering highly successful and innovative . - Experience in identifying product requirements, defining the product vision, working with engineering teams and delivering high-impact capabilities - Being highly customer-centric with an appreciation to understand customer behavior. Stellar design instinct and product taste. - A driver personality biased toward action, great collaborator, and master disambiguator/simplifier, constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery. - Grittiness, you never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements. - A never-ending desire to grow and learn - Strategic visionary thinker who can ruthlessly prioritize, balancing short and long term Product investments - Strong communicator with highly impactful interpersonal skills that can influence different audiences across the organization - A keen learner with willingness to adapt to new and different environments - Multitasking ability to work in a startup environment under pressure, treating no task as beneath him or her - Inspirational leader with the ability to build the next in line management - Open minded team player
