Chief Product Officer - eCommerce

We have an opening for our Client - Top Tier VC backed new media company that develops innovative digital platforms to service and reach audiences.

Job Title: Chief Product Officer

Job description:

- Define product vision and strategy as well as align rest of the organization to deliver on this strategy. This include high level strategy, competitive research, detailed requirement specification (PRDs), user flows, as well as project plans that are signed off by engineering and management.

- Project manage (buck stops at you) roadmap to ensure key functionality is developed and marketed as per plan working closely with UX, engineering and marketing team.

- Ensure that various teams (including product team) have access to the right analytics to make informed decisions.

- Own the content strategy - Ensuring fresh, engaging, exciting, product-focused and SEO-friendly content in sync with the brand's tone, voice and style.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- You’ve got 10 + years of Product Management experience on mobile/web products.

- You’ve built, mentored, scaled up and led a team of product managers or marketers.

- You have demonstrated experience in successfully developing and managing new product launches, including a proven ability to champion products throughout the lifecycle.

- You’re creative, fast, and self-critical.

- You’ve excellent skills in presentations, quantitative and communication – both written and verbal.

- You’re comfortable in working in a fast-paced, agile development environment,

- You are adept at Tracking product performance and identifying key performance indicators,

- You’ve forecast and calculated budgets for upcoming Product Management expenditure, recommended them to Management, and worked with key stakeholders on gaining necessary approvals.

Preferred:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering field

- Masters in Information Systems or Business Administration
