Position Title: Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) Location: Mumbai Reporting line: Chief executive Officer (CEO) Job Responsibilities: 1) Procurement of PV modules, String / Central Inverter, DC/AC cables, Transformers, HT/ LT panels, Structures (fixed and tracker), clamps, Combiner boxes, SCADA monitoring system, Pooling substation, Transmission line etc 2) Floating enquiries, conducting techno-commercial discussion, negotiation, approval and issuing Purchase orders. 3) Formulating strategy for Annual rate contracts. 4) Finalization of Civil, Electrical and I&C contractors. 5) Contract Formulation and management. 6) Vendor due diligence, evaluation and enlistment. 7) Supply chain management (local cum import logistic), co-ordination with CHA/ FF. 8) MNRE co-ordination for concessional duty certificates ( Excise and custom) 9) Tax optimization to reduce tax liabilities 10) Ensure Defect free supplies by coordinating with design, engineering, inspection and QA/QC dept. 11) Ensure zero shortage at site through proper planning. 12) Support to bidding team by providing cost estimate. 13) Budgetary control and planning. 14) MIS, Cash flow planning and various other reports. Key Performance indicator (Job Requirement): - Multidimensional execution Skills to execute projects by optimizing Cost, time and quality. - Good knowledge about implementation of Integrated quality management system ( ISO 9000 and ISO 1400 and HSE). - In-depth knowledge in formulating departmental policies, quality standards, procedure, formats & check lists. - Effective leadership, communication & interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Hands on experience in implementing SAP MM ERP system. - Intensive Global sourcing experience. - Should have used e-procurement, reverse auction tool successfully and generated significant saving. - Experience in handling Marine cum EAR insurance policies (Obtain & claim settlement) Engineer with 15 years of Experience (Minimum 5 years in Project Procurement in Solar Industry).
