Chief Operating Officer - Plant Operations - Textile (15-25 yrs)

We are urgently looking for a Chief Operating Office for a 25 years old company into Textile Processing (printing and dyeing of grey Fabrics for bedsheets)

The company is set up with Installed capacity of 125000 Mtrs per day and presently running at 90% of its capacity. With the present installed capacity company was able to meet demand of its parent company and fewer domestic demands.

The client's Parent company is a reputed business group into Textile Processing and Manufacturing.

The Job description is as follows :

- Overall Site Operation (Technical, Production related, Commercial, Procurement, Compliances, liasoning, People Management)

- Vendor development, Inventory Control and to complete purchases on most competitive rates and term & conditions

- Cost Control/ Rationalization in all areas of manufacturing including utilization of resources and procurement, Power and Fuel Consumption, and Labour Deployment

- Logistics Management

- To deal with Customs and Central Excise department

- Ensure availing fiscal benefit as per State Industrial Policy

- General Administration, technical coordination for productivity improvement and technological upgradation

- Production coordination with market requirement

- To optimize utilization of resources for organizational growth and excellence

- H.R. Policy framework and outlining Functional Responsibilities & Job Requirement Skills of individual Key Functions and working out individual Key Result Areas (K.R.A) and measurable objectives

- To formulate strategy and Time bound Action Plan

- To Recruit and conduct induction & training

- Competency mapping and identifying the Training Needs of the employees in areas of Skill, Attitude and Leadership Development

- To prepare the training calendar, imparting in-house and outhouse training and assessing the impact of training

- To do annual performance appraisal of the employees

- Executing Consequence Management System based on Appraisal and handling fallouts / feedback

- Responsible for labour negotiations and LTA (Long Term Agreement) with the labour union, Industrial Relations including Reconciliation Proceedings and Disciplinary Proceedings

- To Head the TQM and SAG (Small Area Group) activities at the plant for Rejection Control & Production Improvement

- To liaise with various Senior State and Central government officials

- P.R. activities with key political leaders, administrative officers and persons of impact

- To handle legal activities including incentives related cases in High Court and Supreme Court

- ISO 9001 : 2000 Series furtherance, as Management Representative

- Team building and to provide leadership and motivational support

- Analysis of MIS reports


Functional Requirements :

- BE / B.Tech MUST from reputed institutes with a minimum of 15 years- experience in relevant Industries

- Must have led complete operations in at least two previous tenures

- Independent Management of diverse stakeholders like function head from plant, production, delivery schedules, fixed assets, customer queries, statuary and environmental compliances, liasoning with authorities
