Our clients are on a rapid expansion path and as part of their strategic growth plans , they are looking for a COO to launch and head their new division of prescription-based products which will be marketed through doctors. COO-New Products Division:
- The position is the role of a complete Business Manager with top-line & bottom-line responsibility for the division. The incumbent will be responsible for conceptualising & Launching the new products division, overseeing Building a new distribution channel and recruiting, motivating and leading a sales team nationally in a phased manner.
- The ideal candidate profile is Graduates or MBAs with 12-25 years solid experience in senior leadership positions in pharma companies into selling prescription medicines.
- Must have grown from the sales stream and now holding senior positions in pharma organisations as CEO/COO (of mid-sized organisations) / SBU/Divisional-Heads of large organisations or VP/Head-Sales / Marketing of leading pharma organisations.
- Must have had some experience in start-up (products/divisions/organisations) nd launching new products /companies, building teams while working closely with the promoters.
- The main challenge will be to strategically plan and launch the product-range, buidl the marketing/launch plan, build a new distribution channel, sales team with focused marketing efforts.
- Exposure to selling OTC products will be an added advantage.
