Summary :

Responsible for ensuring that the Business Unit delivers safe and effective clinical care, which will require regular interaction with patient-facing staff and patients. The post holder must ensure that there are processes in place to support this and take corrective action when appropriate

Responsibilities :

- Deliver on all domains for the Business Unit's balanced scorecard

- Quality, Productivity, Margins and Compliance.

- Effectively manage data/information to ensure national and local targets are met. This will involve the receiving, interpretation and provision of highly complex, highly sensitive or highly contentious information. Highly developed negotiating skills will be required.

- Create, develop and compile reports to inform the Executive of the Business Unit's performance.

- Lead the production of and deliver the Business Unit's business plan

- Develop and implement patient pathways to ensure that the patient has the best clinical outcomes. Review capacity planning on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with local and national targets and continuous improvement.

- Initiate regular reviews of services within the Business Unit in line with the business retention programs, ensuring new developments are appropriately resourced through business planning/contracting process.

- Develop, monitor and deliver action plan related to the review to ensure business is not lost. Ensure that accurate statistical data is available to teams to support service management and development.

- This will include presenting and providing complex and contentious information to a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external) ensuring that the audience receiving the information understands content and context and their role in achieving targets.

- Support the implementation of new initiatives where possible to run effective services.

Candidate Profile :

- Experience of 6 -10 years

- Must have worked at hospital chains such as Apollo, Fortis, Max Healthcare, Dr. Reddy's Lab

- Degree level (or equivalent) and Master's degree in healthcare related subject

- High level of interpersonal communication skills

- Strong performance management work ethic

- Expected to demonstrate excellent IT skills. And should be proficient in the use of word, excel, PowerPoint
