Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a leading Grant - making Foundation The role would be of the Key person providing operational leadership to the philanthropic efforts of the Foundation. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following : 1. Day to day oversight of planning and execution of the Foundation's activities as approved by the trustees / its appropriately empowered body 2. Work with the Principals in periodically assessing and setting the overall vision and strategy of the Foundation 3. Build and manage relationships and partnerships with key external stakeholders 4. Initiate through external partners / consultants, and through internal discussions; periodic and robust evaluations and impact assessments of the progress and performance of the Foundation's grants with the objective of ensuring they are effective and learnings are being incorporated in future disbursals Candidate requirements : 1. Should have at least 5 years of experience in the development sector 2.. Should be willing to travel for work to various grantees program location (all over India) 3. Strong people management skills and track record 4. Strong analytical skills 5. Good verbal and written communication skills
