COO - Micro lending (New Product Initiative)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate will be a co-founder of our global Micro-lending business.

Responsibilities include building the business ground up.

- Risk management - Creating Processes, Implementation of risk management tools 

- Portfolio Quality Management, Tracking of Portfolio Movement 

- Involved in developing new Loan Products through rigorous analysis of market data 

- Formulate Long-term strategy for the company with an eye on market & competition. 

- Owner of & aligned with the Business P&L 

- Help recruit an awesome team

Previous experience in Retail Banking or Consumer Finance is essential. Strong business sense and demonstrable track record of heading a P&L. Experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating a team with an inclination to leverage data and technology.

Key Competencies Required -

- Education and Experience

- MBA from a top Business School

- Having at least 12-15 years of experience in the Consumer Finance Industry

- Deep understanding of consumer lending and underwriting /processing of personal / sme loans

- Experience in payments domain in the financial inclusion/MFS/emerging payments side

- Ability to understand product, technology and operations

Essential Soft Skills -

- Passion to build a business

- Ability to formulate business relationships

- Consumer Finance, Retail Banking, Strategy formulation

The candidate to be open for relocation anywhere in the world as per the business requirements

MUST HAVE : - MBA From Top Tier school.
