Chief Operating Officer - Mfg

Our client is a Swiss Company and a recognized market leader in the fields of insulation products and systems for the electrical machinery industry as well as for composite materials and parts for various industrial applications. In addition, they also provide special thermal and fire resistant insulation products to the cable, electronics and other industries.

PURPOSE:

- Leading the Indian organization towards stability and profitability, driving the P& L

- Leading the Indian Management Team in a culturally accepted and positive manner towards success and acceptance

- Working on Strategies for India which are pragmatic and implementable

- Working on a effective Organization and Processes

- Cooperation with Board of Directors in India

- Working together with CEO of the Group in a Target oriented, pragmatic manner

- Establishing Business connections

- Unions, Workers Council, Outside Partners: Legal Advertisers, Marketing Spec., Consultants, Public Authorities,

Internal

- Production Workers, Leading Roles/Management, Board of Directors, CEO of Group, Management Team, Peers, Stakeholder, Customers, Suppliers, Competitors

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Education / Experience

- Essentially an Electrical Engineer graduated preferably from Indian Institute of Technology with a Management degree in Marketing

- As a benchmark 15 years of experience in Leading a Production Organization on the Indian subcontinent

- Experience in Leading a Manufacturing and/or Engineering Site

- Additional Leading skills

- Additional Financial Management skills

- Familiar with Local Indian culture: “Indian Heritage”

Special Knowledge and Skills

- Experience in Manufacturing goods

- Experience in Leading a Management Team in India

- Experience in working together with a European Headquarter

- Experience in bringing together Indian and European Culture

- Experience in Developing people

- Being in a position to act as Leader, Integrator, Motivator and Whip
