Chief Operating Officer - Light Engineering

Our Client a leading Light Engineering company in India is looking for COO for their plant in Coimbatore.

Job responsibilities:

- Develop a broad and deep knowledge of all programs and provide creative solutions to organizational and operational challenges

- Provide leadership, direction and management support and development to line reports and take responsibility for a robust, open and healthy management culture

- To work with Marketing team to develop new products to achieve the growth targets

- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company

- Direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.

- Establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for senior management.

- Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company products.

- Advise the management team on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions.

- Set operational and / or performance goals for each department which are achievable and tied to long-term goals

- Ensure activities comply with organisational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations, and general duty of care.

- Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives.

- Strong experience in manufacturing of engineering products

- People management skills

- Should have handled multiple plants and products
