Chief Operating Officer - Heavy Engineering (Automobiles)

Business : Heavy Engineering & Manufacturing - CHENNAI

(We are hiring for our client, A large manufacturing firm in to Heavy Engineering & Automotive mobility solutions) Tippers & Loaders Manufacturing

Minimum 20 years proven experience.

Qualification :

- Graduate (Preferably B.E. Mechanical / Automobile) with an MBA

- The Candidate should be qualified with B.E./M.E/B.Tech/M.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile engineering with proven records. If any certificate course related to Process engineering

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities :

- The candidate should be a highly motivated and goal oriented person committed to Pursuing a long term career with the Organization

- Capable of handling overall operations of the unit in manufacturing, operations, Quality systems, Process planning, value engineering, Inventory Management, New projects improvements.

- As a Leader, should be with strong skills in taking process improvements, cost reduction, implementing quality systems for enhance the Plant capacity and vision for the Organization Growth and new technology in the process.

- Should be capable of Culture & system change

- Should be expertise in implementing new concepts, Kanban, value stream mapping, Kaizen events etc.

- Ability to plan, organize, execute daily targets of production and dispatches. Implement safety methods & systems to ensure zero safety in the organization. Should create a team environment to increase productivity

- Independent responsibility to take care of day today operations, conducting daily review meeting with all HODs. Responsible for fulfilling the monthly production Plan & deliveries. Attending meeting with OEM customers.

- Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing Expert.

Languages : Mandatory proficiency in Hindi & English
