Chief Operating Officer - Healthcare

We are in the process of COO search for a reputed organisation in Health care (chain of health care centers) to be based at Chennai, reporting to the Chairman.

A brief JD:

- An overall strategic and operational responsibility for all health care centers in India.

- Advise the management team on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions.

- Establish operational processes/ process improvement

- Monitor center performance against budgets to ensure that targets are achieved

- Strategic planning and resource allocation

- Ensure quality control as required including compliance with industry standards like NABH

- Coordinate efforts between all department heads and set performance goals for each department / center, which are aggressive, achievable and aligned with vision of Board of Directors

- Establish and monitor performance reporting systems

- Lead, coach, develop, and train employees. Develop and implement training programs to expand the capacity of all staff.

Desired profile:

- The incumbent should be preferably from health care segment and more specifically handling P/L portfolio for health care chains or Multispeciality Hospitals

- Should be atleast possesing 15-20 years of relevant experience and aspiring to be the CEO of the organisation in 2-3 years.

- Ability to lead, plan and manage change
