Chief Operating Officer - EV Fleet Management Firm

Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy. The COO is a crucial member of senior management team, who reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Job duties and responsibilities :

- Custodian of Corporate Vision, Values and Brand Equity. Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture.

- Managing organizations profitability and monitoring of CAPEX & OPEX budgets.

- Ensuring Fair Returns on Invested Capital to Stakeholders.

- Advising the CEO and The Board on key planning issues and making recommendations on important business decisions.

- Designing strategies for business growth and setting comprehensive goals for team members.

- Scanning the market for new business opportunities and developing action plans to tap the same. Keeping abreast with market information and trends, sales analysis, market feedback etc and using the same to improvise the sales strategy.

- Providing technical and commercial leadership in sales, operations, supply chain, process improvement & overall management.

- Improving customer satisfaction via understanding of VOC, exceeding needs & expectations.

- Ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken so that employees are provided with a safe and healthy working environment.

- Maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.

Job requirements and qualifications :

- Previous working experience (15-20 years') with strong exposure in general, cross-functional, and P&L management.

- A skilled communicator passionate about technology and having strong analytical abilities.

- A good command & understanding of various business processes in an organization like operations, technology, manufacturing, processes, supply chain, finance & HR in addition to sales & marketing, business strategy etc.

- B. E / B. Tech from a Tier 1 School.

- MBA from a Tier 1 Business School. Majors in Operations / General Management preferable.
