COO for a renowned apparel manufacturing company which operates in premium category for few high end european brand

Location: Noida

Job Summary:

COO will be responsible for managing day to day operations of the company with a special focus on production, supply chain, delivery, quality, customer engagement and cost management. Incumbent will have significant role in business growth, product innovation, and improving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist MD and the Board in framing the business strategy and annual operating plans with performance parameters.

- Lead the operations of the company and take accountability of meeting the performance parameters as per the Annual Operating Plans.

- Take initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the company to take on the domestic and international competition.

- Constantly review, monitor and enhance the robustness of the operations of the company to ensure dependability and efficiency.

- Develop a system of identifying and removing the bottlenecks in supply chain, production, efficiency and reliability.

- Improve supply chain efficiency and vendor base to ensure that the company has dependable raw material supply meeting the cost, quality and time parameters.

- Lead the initiatives for product innovation and category expansion in line with the market demands and customer expectations.

- Develop and monitor clear, measurable objectives and goals for the production units.

- Constantly benchmark production and cost efficiencies and keep ahead of the competition on these parameters.

- Introduce new materials, products; advise on the suitability of which materials to use in the manufacture of the product work with customers, designers and material suppliers.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

- MBA preferably with Engineering background.

- Minimum 20 years of experience with last few years at CEO / COO level.

- Good exposure to garment industry both domestic and international.
