Chief of Staff (Startup)

We are currently retained by a growing start-up to hire a Chief of staff for them. The COS will play a critical role in helping in initiating and executing overall strategies for the organization and work closely with the CEO's office. The role of the COS will be to ensure smooth functioning of the CEO's office, business excellence and creating all dashboards and review decks for the board.

This role needs someone who is passionate about growth, process, product and has proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder alignment, project management and driving strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities :

- Direct business planning efforts across all lines of business and functional areas.

- Ensure all initiatives from the CEO's office are well managed

- Drive strategic initiatives for the organization in line with the gaps identified through strong MIS & governance.

- Collaborate with functional leaders and teams to implement and institutionalize change.

- Work on the organizational strategic leavers along with the CEO for improvement & tracking.

- Build effectiveness and efficiency within the organization.

- Playing an influencer role with various stakeholders to get the correct status of the projects and work out possible solutions.

- Providing all necessary support for seamless execution of projects in their scale up journey.

- Lead a variety of projects on various business initiatives.

- Create Dashboards and presentation decks for board.

- Drive business excellence across plant and corporate.

To fit the bill :

- 8+ years of significant strategy, consulting experience with minimum 2+ years as a COS.

- Must have worked with startup or a mid-sized company in COS role.

- Excellent in critical thinking skills, data analytics, modelling, and operational analytics funnels.

- MBA from a top B School with COS experience.
