Position Overview The role & purpose is to enhance value creation at Quality organisation by collaborating with the Quality & Pharmacovigilance Heads across the globe. It involves planning and overseeing all strategic, financial, and administrative functions of the Quality Head & office to ultimately boost performance and facilitate the growth of our organisation - This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experiences around leadership, business priorities & stakeholder management. You will have the opportunities to work with senior management at our organisation and multiple external stakeholders. Key responsibilities 1. Office of Global Head of Quality: - Ensure efficient management of Quality organisation's Head responsibilities, including governance, priorities, and other day-to-day activities like filtering crucial information for increased efficiency. - Oversee logistical aspects of daily work of the Global Head of Quality, managing presentations and shaping agendas for critical meetings. - Serve as a reliable sounding board for the Global Head of Quality on various topics, providing support on complex, complicated, and confidential initiatives. - Handle travel schedules to streamline and prioritize Global Head of Quality travel arrangements. 2. Strategy: - Drive the strategic direction of Global quality organisation, supervising key business initiatives from origination through development to successful execution. - Collaborate with senior leaders in the organization to prioritize and deliver on organization-level assignments and special projects, from conceptualization to delivery. - Function as a subject matter expert on operations, ensuring continuous value creation. - Ensure the identification of business risks and collaborate on the development of mitigation strategies. - Partner with relevant leaders to enhance the organizational strength of Global quality organisation. as a business unit. - Identify opportunities for value creation within the scope of Global Head of Quality's responsibilities. - Take charge of program management for budgeting, planning, and execution, including - ROI tracking and highlighting areas for improvement for quality organisation. 3. Engaging with stakeholders: - Interact and oversee key external and internal stakeholders, serving as a connection point between various levels of management. - Internal stakeholders: Quality heads, other CXOs, CEO & Board of Directors - External stakeholders: Industry bodies & media - Act as a liaison between different Quality Heads, CXOs, MC members, and other senior leaders to effectively project manage change in various aspects of business. - Offer recommendations and consultation to enhance teamwork across the organization, providing valuable insights to Quality leadership. - Take charge of relationship management, influencing positive outcomes, and adeptly handling conflicts. - Engage with pertinent external industry stakeholders, staying informed about industry updates, and assisting leadership teams in aligning with prevailing trends. 4. Global Quality Performance: - Define the agenda for performance reviews for quality teams, outlining annual aspirations and 3-5 year Quality goals within the planning cycle. - Conduct and actively engage in periodic reviews, collaborating closely with Quality functions to comprehend operating performance, identify gaps, and pinpoint areas for improvement. - Regularly monitor dashboards to assess financial and operational performance, ensuring a thorough review on a periodic basis. Qualifications: - Preferably holds an MBA from a top-tier business school. - Brings over 3 years of consulting expertise with a focus on quality management. - Possesses 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industries in Quality Domain. - 5+ years of experience in roles cutting across Quality and Strategy. Essential Skills & Work Experience: - Demonstrated consulting experience in relevant sectors such as pharma, FMCG, fine chemicals, automotive, etc. - Exceptional communication, executive presence, and interpersonal skills. - Proven track record of leading strategic transformations while effectively engaging with senior management, CXOs, and the Board. - Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across functions, businesses, and geographies. - Demonstrates eagerness to challenge and be challenged. - Exhibits a high degree of ownership and accountability.
