Chief of Innovation & Growth - Building Material Firm

Our client is India's one of the leading Building Material organization having ambitious targets for future growth through organic and inorganic route. They are looking to hire a Chief of Innovation and Growth based out of their Corporate Office to drive Corporate strategies from technology innovation perspective supporting the growth trajectory.

Reporting into the Deputy MD and managing departments such as Process excellence, Cement -Technology evaluation, Growth ideas, Business Sustainability, New technology in Greenfield and Brownfield projects and Alternate Fuels, you will be responsible for :

- Developing technology roadmap for the Cement Business and driving initiatives and programs that align with business strategy giving their business the profitable growth or edge in the market place.

- Promoting innovation and directing development of new products and application.

- Driving Operational Excellence Initiatives for enhancing Productivity, Plant Reliability, Quality and Cost Optimization.

- Actively participating and contributing to formulation and implementation of Growth strategy of Cement Business, making technology choices for new Greenfield & Brownfield projects, major upgradations / de-bottlenecking in all operating plants, technical due diligence of potential M&A targets and acquisition of limestone mines and coal blocks.

- Establishing, developing & growing new revenue stream / business of Alternate Fuel and Raw materials within Cement Business and achieving and sustaining position of preferred Partner for Waste Disposal.

- Maximizing profits and improving Cement Business Carbon footprint.

- Developing Centres of Excellence which will include Technical Training Centre that is aligned to business priorities and supporting knowledge Management / Skill Upgradation required to deliver Strategic Technology agenda.

Ideally you are a PHd professional with 20+ years of experience in Cement /Chemicals/Oil & Gas/Heavy Metal industries driving innovation across the organization. You should have generated and executed successful innovative ideas in your career for the organizations to promote their growth. You should have an appetite to take risks and at the same time excellent analytical skills to evaluate an idea and implement. You should be ready for the next challenging role in a leading organization.
