A new 50 bedded hospital requires a medical superintendent - At least 10+ years of experience of which the incumbent should have spent minimum of 5 years of practice in a medical setup or hospital. Qualification: MBBS / MD. Candidates with exposure to Hospital Management shall have an added advantage - Knowledge of medicine - Surgical knowledge and competence Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the hospital - Co-ordinate and liaison with government and other medical bodies (e.g. MEDEX, WHO, FICCI, NDA, State governments etc.), press, national level programs (e.g. programs for TB, Leprosy, Blindness control etc.), CII, NGOs, etc. and attend national and international conferences in the capacity of a speaker or a delegate - Keep abreast of emerging models in health care delivery; identify and define new and innovative strategies to achieve business goals and objectives Competency/ Skill Set Required: - Demonstrate management, organizational and interpersonal skills - Strong administrative skills - Relationship Management / Networking skills - Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders - Self-assured and result oriented - Ability to solve problems and execute on initiatives
