Designation / Role : Chief Marketing Officer (Real Estate/Developer Company)
Location : Kolkata
Reporting to Managing Director
Purpose of the Role :
- To develop an overall strategy through consumer initiatives, brand planning and budget management across the various geographies & categories which would enable business to achieve its end objective.
Key Responsibilities :
Marketing and Branding :
- Demonstrate creative excellence, disciplined project leadership and management in crafting new opportunities from multiple start points
- Enable innovation & launch agenda across projects and segments.
- Recognize business opportunities and support business to allocate and prioritize resources for research and development and marketing communications.
- Develop ideas and strategies to enhance Companys brand visibility through planned / structured and innovative marketing and branding initiatives (ATL & BTL).
- Facilitate revenue generation of new and ongoing brands. This includes marketing strategy and tactics.
Communication and Relationship Management :
- Oversee all communications, public relations and promotional activities selected to support the brand and marketing strategy.
- Innovatively manage website maintenance, social media participation and trade show exhibitions.
- Manage press relations, speaking engagements, special events and community outreach activities.
- Enhance networking and relationship building with online platforms (example: 99 acres, magic-bricks.com etc.) to leverage upon it and promote the brand.
Communications and Media :
- Knowledge of media production, communication, dissemination techniques and methods, cost analysis and control. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
Leadership - People & Process Management :
- Collaborate with functional and business Heads across group for propagating a synergistic approach towards brand internalization.
Bottom-line orientation :
- Budget management, cost consciousness and accountability for bottom line.
- Demonstrate measurement of the results of marketing programs in terms of increased market share, revenue growth and improved profitability.
Key Competencies :
- Strong marketing acumen and strategic skills to enable the thinking on overall strategy, business model, consumer initiatives and brand planning.
- Ability to handle branding and promotion of multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment,
- Hands-on experience on marketing launches, using marketing channels to create qualitative - quantitative value for the brand, anchoring research & consumer insights, exposure to brand management practices, proven marketing strategy execution capabilities.
- Well organized with strong customer-service, writing and presentation skills.
- Technical proficiency integral to desktop publishing and website maintenance.
- An ability to lead the marketing team and work with vendors.
- Understanding of markets and customers.
- Handling market complexity.
- Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
