Chief Manager: Surveillance

1. Scrip monitoring and generation of alerts :

- Supervise the overall process of monitoring for deviation in scrips, alert generation, and initiation of surveillance action; Handle escalations, if any, in the day-to-day operations.

- Collect feedback from the investigation team on an ongoing basis on the alerts generated by the team and implement changes where required.

- Verify news items which can impact the movement of scrips and update the team about the same.

- Coordinate for surveillance actions.

- Update self on the latest developments in the financial markets.

2. Regulatory & other internal compliances :

Regulatory & other internal compliances Coordinate with regulators for queries and data requests

- Attend the surveillance committee meeting, draft the agenda and minutes of the meeting

- Coordinate with the internal audit team and ensure process compliance

3. System developments and policy changes :

- Oversee the development of the surveillance system and improvements in the process.

- Coordinate with internal teams for any changes in the surveillance process and systems.

- Review and propose changes in policy to adhere to changing regulatory norms

4. People Management :

- Identify training needs for the team members

- Cascade the departmental goals to frame individual goals and facilitate achievement of these goals
