Chief Manager - Disciplinary Function - HR

Roles & Responsibilities:


- Creation, and implementation of robust disciplinary process.

- Ensure adherence to principles of natural justice to manage the Disciplinary process.

- Advise the committee members on how to conduct fact-finding inquiry & document the findings.

- Ensure PAN India HR compliances.

- Formulate preventive action by reviewing organisation-level practice and legal implications of statutory regulations.

- Conduct compliance audits wrt all applicable statutes & take corrective action.

- Formulation of POSH committee as per statute, training of IC committee, and ensuring closure of cases as per the act.

- Conduct awareness and ensure zero tolerance towards any act of sexual harassment.

- Formulation of process & governance mechanism for Ethics & Governance.

- Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and other Ethics & Governance policies across the organization.

- Strengthening the processes through periodic benchmarking, training of professionals & audits.

- Participates in a range of regulatory exams and internal audit reviews.

- Responds to workplace concerns on behalf of senior management.

- Works with the Employment Law team in the investigation of and response to agency charges and litigation.

- Partners with internal stakeholders such as Compliance Mahindra Home Finance security and Investigative Services and Audit on investigations of employee misconduct.

- Assists in the design, development and/or delivery of training initiatives for HR.

- Coaches and consults on the interpretation and application of HR policy and practices in all phases of employment.

- Develops effective and creative policy resource tools for HRs and managers to ensure consistent application and interpretation of policy and practice as well as to improve HR skills.

- All other duties as assigned.

- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Mahindra Home Finance, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
