We have 1 very urgent position in one of the reputed BFSI / NBFC brand :
POSITION - Chief Manager / AVP - Finance & Accounts
CTC: Negotiable; based on current CTC, experience, education & interview status.
REPORTS TO: HEAD - F&A
REPORTERS : Team of Managers & below
DESIGNATION : Chief Mgr / AVP
LOCATION : MUMBAI
JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Key Responsibilities :
- Managerial Responsibilities - Review of CLIENT financials on regular basis.
- Review and monitoring of all MIS pertaining to F&A.
- Ensuring SOPs in place and practice for all key processes in F&A.
Functional Responsibilities : Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per the timelines circulated by consol team.
- Preparation of projected Balance sheet and Profit and Loss account for necessary action and decision making.
- Back up for head of F&A and also for another senior member of the team.
- Board presentation on quarterly basis.
- Comprehensive receivable review report for debtors consist of,
- Long outstanding debtors
- Client debit balance with inadequate Stock/Nil Stock
- Monthly dashboard with action plan
- Review of credit balance
- Review of Provisioning System for Debtors (Accounts, MIS)
- Resolution of internal audit queries
- Managing Margin Call reports/group mapping/ Entity master.
- Ensure comprehensive provisioning of debtors consist of,
- Circulation of age-wise bucketing report for fortnightly and monthly to respective business team
- Appropriate provisioning in books for inadequate Stock/Nil Stock with requisite approvals
- Reasoning for provision with justification for overdue debtors if not provided along with mapping of collaterals
- Follow-up with business support/operation team for debtors ageing for provisions on monthly basis.
- Preparation of books v/s MIS Debtors provisioning reconciliation for BU entities on a monthly basis.
- Liasioning with Risk team for their provisioning nos. in recon file every month for ensuring correctness of numbers published for MIS.
- Responsible for reconciling/matching the MIS and accounting books number every month (MIS Vs A/c tally).
- Initiate various dashboards of F&A for management reporting purpose consist of,
- Internal Incidence Reporting & Review mechanism to filter out Reportable exceptions - ASC F&A
- Dashboard and Chart that can be presented to Higher Management on monthly basis showing summary of payments processed through online and offline mode bifurcating - payment beyond and within time summarized to give monthly count, amount, and percentage
- Ensure smooth completion of the statutory and internal audit without much observation related to concerned areas.
- To prepare and finalize SOPs related to concerned areas.
- To automate various projects of ASC- F&A as an when required.
- To review lower TDS application data before submission to Central F&A Tax team for submission to IT department.
- Give guidance to junior staff for his professional growth and development.
- Review of CSR details, XBRL details and other reports as per the requirement from other verticals.
- Ensuring and monitoring of control environment over financial operations and financial reporting in keeping with the best practices.
- Oversight of Financial Operations, Internal Controls, and Co-ordination of all Financial and Internal/External audits.
Job Requirements
Qualifications Chartered Accountants
Experience - Minimum Experience: 8 years
- Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 years
Functional Competencies - Understanding of commodities, warehousing business.
- Adequate understanding of Financial Statements (Indian accounting standards), (IND-AS) and routing accounting function.
- Advanced level knowledge of Accounting Systems, Microsoft Office, and Oracle System.
Behavioral Competencies - Strategic Thinking.
- Good Communication Skills (Written and Verbal).
- Analytical Skill.
- Risk Management and Control.
- Team Management.
- Problem Solving Attitude/ Customer Centricity.
ANY INDUSTRY: BFSI preferred ( NBFC, Bank ).
- Exp- Preferred between 8 to 12 yrs. Minimum 5 yrs
- V V IMPORTANT: Looking for someone with the Strategic role, someone who has laid processes and System, SOPs, MISC, Good in giving a presentation.
