Job Purpose:

Direct Taxes - Compliances, Advisory and Litigation

- Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Building relationships and interacting with consultants, auditors, cross functions, IT department to gather and provide information .Ensure complete statutory compliance with relating to Direct tax

Roles and Responsibilities :

a) Handling year-end tax compliance including Corporate Tax Return, Tax Audit & Transfer Pricing Audit.

b) Drafting Submissions, reviewing and filing submissions for Assessment u/s. 143(3), 147 & 92CA and SCN's.

c) Filing Appeals at Tribunal and Commissioner Level.

d) Collating documentation from a TP perspective of costs recharges by head office for head office expenditure.

e) Review tax provisions, Effective tax rate, computations for financial reporting purposes.

f) Reviewing of Advance Tax workings, TDS Return Workings.

g) Assessing application of Withholding Tax with Income Tax Act

h) Reviewing various agreements entered from Tax perspective.

i) Reviewing of TDS Returns and Responding to TDS notices received from department.

j)Advising on withholding tax obligations in India on various payments to foreign as well as domestic companies

k)Researching on various developments / amendments in the taxation laws and sharing update
