Job description

Leading and working on AML technology projects

Defining business requirements and test cases

Conducting user acceptance tests

Implementation of application/software

Monitoring and resolving system issues

Conducting root cause analysis of errors (if any) and ensuring resolution of same

Administration of Sanction screening process including sanction screening solution

Helping each product group to embed sanction screening in their respective processes

Training on Sanction screening solution

User management of sanction screening solution

Ensuring updation of negative database

Advise business and operation unit on matches generated

Closure of guidelines with respect to sanction screening

System effectiveness testing

Carrying out walkthrough / audit of various business groups from sanction screening perspective

OFAC sanctions compliance

Co-ordination with International branches and subsidiaries

Ensuring compliance of group AML policy and procedures in the AML Policy and procedure manual of IBG branches / subsidiaries

Reviewing product notes of IBG locations from AML control perspective

Training to the local compliance officers on AML system and other AML related areas

Administration of AML system including assistance in configuration of AML rules, threshold analysis, resolution of system issues, etc

Preparation of required MIS reports

Filing of STRs

Develop and maintain AML Policy and procedures

Carrying out due diligence on correspondent banks and exchange houses

Skill sets:

AML related knowledge skills and experience gained in a compliance role within a financial institution

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work with a team

Highly dynamic and proactive with problem solving capabilities

Computer proficiency in spreadsheet applications

Preferably a Chartered Accountant
