We are an Executive Search Organization headquartered in New Delhi.

I have started this Organisation after working in the industry for 16yrs in HR..

My last Organisation was CSC.. In the past worked with HCL, Nucleus S/w, NPI, DCM, Mitsui.

We partner with our clients to fill up their strategic and leadership positions for their business success.

At this time we have following Senior Position with a very Large IT MNC Organisation (Multi-Location)

Chief IT Officer (CIO)

The role is responsible for Heading Internal IT Division. The position reports to the Group CEO of the Organisation

LOCATION : Noida

POSITION: Chief IT Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Oversee the revision of the IT Strategic Plan on an annual basis ensuring its coherence with the overall Organizational Strategic plan, Budget preparation and management

- Recommendations for technical acquisitions

- Timely support to employees concerning hardware, networking and software needs

- Development of guidelines, standards and procedures Hardware, Networking and Systems Software

- Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the organizational infrastructure

- Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new infrastructure and applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.

- Assess new computing technologies and the feasibility of system enhancements to determine potential value for the organization

- Supervise the ordering, acquisition, inventorying, and disposition of hardware, networking equipment and software

- Serve as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, contracts, agreements, and other major vendor interactions

- Maintain the integrity and continual operation of the organizational network which uses various technologies

- Ensure the continual functioning of mission critical operations

- Data Leak Prevention - Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.

- Business Continuity Planning - Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans

- Plan and Ensure Compliance with Software Licensing Policies

- Provide leadership, vision, and management of Corporate IT team

- Work with various teams to assess and respond to Corporate IT needs

DESIRED PROFILE:

- Must have Strong Exp. in IT Infrastructure Deployment, Networking, Security Management, Implementation, Program Management, Change management.

- Master's degree in Computer Science will be preferred

- Working experience of planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, support and troubleshooting for large IT initiatives including ERP (SAP)

- Well versed with upcoming technologies such as Virtualization, Cloud computing, Enterprise Mobility, Green IT.

- Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with business partners, manage multiple teams and locations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with technical / non technical members of the organization including senior management.

- Should have good experience in handling vendors and implementation partners.

- Should be well versed with IT policies and processes and have prepared and managed IT budgets for the organization.

- Good understanding of IT Security

- Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills
