Job Description : Chief Investment Officer role with one of the leading players in the renewable energy space based out of Delhi / NCR

Client Details :

Our client is one of the largest renewable energy IPPs in India. They have a large portfolio of projects and are also growing at a rapid pace with presence in other markets as well. They are expanding their operations and hence, are looking to recruit a Head of Investments (CIO) based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Description :

Reporting in to the CEO of the firm, as the CIO you shall be responsible for :

- Leading the entire team of corporate finance & compliance controls professionals (circa 25) and ensure that all short term as well as long term funding requirements are met. This is to be done via various instruments like debt, equity, mezzanine funds among others

- Partnering with the business teams as well as the CEO of the firm to ensure that growth opportunities for the firm are identified and evaluated.

- In addition to this, you shall play a key role in the bidding process for various projects from an investments as well as an RoI point of view

- Liaise with the board and present management reports

Profile :

- You will be an investments / corporate finance professional with more than 20 years of proven track record of raising funds via different routes.

- The ideal candidate would come from the energy or infrastructure space having raised a total of more than INR 10,000 cr worth of funds including individual deals worth more than INR 1000cr.

- You will have excellent executive presence with a track record of leading large teams and liaising with board of directors. An extremely hands on corporate finance leader with a stable career path is a must.
