Chief Internal Auditor - BFS

Role & responsibilities :

- Identify, assess and evaluate risk to enable the execution of the enterprise risk management strategy.

- Assisting the Trustees in scoping, planning and resourcing internal audit and business assurance reviews, contributing to the proposals for internal audit and identifying areas of under-assurance and liaising with external bodies as appropriate.

- Design, implement and appraise the adequate and effective system of internal controls that meet the Foundation's control requirements especially in safeguarding its assets.

- Conduct ongoing follow-up on observations and recommendations from external auditors. Ensures audit and other review findings, observations and recommendations are discussed with Trustees and agree on plan of action for improvement.

- Carries out special assignments, investigations or reviews that may be requested for by the audit committee and Trustees.

- Keep the Audit Committee and the Trustees informed of emerging trends and practices in internal auditing.

- Adhere to the core values of Foundation as well as Code of Conduct.

- Maintenance of appropriate auditing standards, provide strategic leadership and vision to the Foundation.

- Develop a risk awareness program and conduct training to ensure that stakeholders understand risk and contribute to the risk management process and to promote a risk-aware culture.
